Thank you for supporting your favourite OWCS teams by purchasing the Ember Juno Crowdfunding Bundle. Massive congrats to our champions, Crazy Raccoon, for their incredible run in Hangzhou!&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-6818ac8c0893f\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/esportsinsider.com\/2025\/04\/owcs-champions-clash-2025-guide\">OWCS Champions Clash<\/a> was the first international tournament of 2025, and ran from April 18th-20th in Hangzhou, China. It saw the best teams from their respective regional qualifiers competing for the lion&#8217;s share of the crowdfunded prize pot.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"esi-heading-6818ac8c08f27\" class=\"esi-heading \">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span id=\"overwatch_criticised_for_giving_25_of_revenue_to_esports_teams-2\">Overwatch Criticised for Giving 25% of Revenue to Esports Teams<\/span><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-6818ac8c094f6\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n<p>The announcement online was not met with universal excitement, as some fans criticised the organisation for only sharing 25% of the proceeds from the crowdfunded skin to the OWCS Champions Clash 2025 prize pool. <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-6818ac8c09ab5\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/JamJjetr\/status\/1917406847608447220\">In a response on X<\/a>, one user wrote: &#8220;Why do you only give them 25% of sales? The whole point of the skin is the prize pool so where does the rest go?&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-6818ac8c0a058\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n<p>Many criticised Blizzard, saying $260,000 is simply not enough.
