Players may send specific items or entire bundles to their friends, while recipients have the option to decline or accept gifts.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-681898bc326af\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n<p>However, the gifting is currently limited to Featured Store items, with expansions planned for future updates. All information about the new feature and related rules and restrictions can be found on the dedicated <a href=\"https:\/\/support-valorant.riotgames.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/40270045945107-Gifting-in-VALORANT\">Play Support page<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"esi-heading-681898bc32c7e\" class=\"esi-heading \">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span id=\"balancing_yorus_ultimate-2\">Balancing Yoru\u2019s Ultimate<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-681898bc33268\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n<p>Yoru has seen an increased pick rate in professional VALORANT since the start of the 2025 VCT season. While his teleports allow for a strong map presence on both the defence and attacker side, his ultimate ability, Dimensional Drift, reigns supreme in VCT lobbies.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-681898bc3380e\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n<p>Often considered a \u2018round-winning ultimate\u2019, Dimensional Drift can be used to gain space and information and to set up deadly plays for Yoru and other agents.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-681898bc33dcb\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n<p>It, therefore, does not come as a surprise that Riot has decided to tone down the strength of this ability. The ult duration was reduced from <strong>12 to 10 seconds<\/strong> with an ult cost increase from <strong>7 to 8 points<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-681898bc34355\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n<p>As the rest of his kit remains the same, fans can expect Yoru to continue being a popular duelist choice in competitive VALORANT. Still, players will have to be more mindful about when and how to use the Dimensional Drift efficiently.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"esi-heading-681898bc34919\" class=\"esi-heading \">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span id=\"small_changes_to_brimstone_and_astra-2\">Small Changes to Brimstone and Astra<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-681898bc34ebd\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n<p>In contrast to the anticipated Yoru nerfs VALORANT\u2019s new patch has brought minor changes to Brimstone and Astra. The latter has received a small nerf to her stun ability, Nova Pulse. To better align with other non-ultimate stun abilities in the game, <strong>Nova Pulse\u2019s stun duration<\/strong> was decreased from <strong>4 to 3.5 seconds<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-681898bc35455\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n<p>This will most likely not significantly impact Astra\u2019s usage in ranked or professional play, as her stun\u2019s duration was never the main star of her kit. Moreover, the agent has been considered fairly balanced with Omen as an often-better replacement.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-681898bc359f4\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n<p>Meanwhile, Brimstone only saw adjustments to his gameplay and combat clarity. The audio of his molotov, <strong>Incendiary<\/strong>, has been updated to be easier to hear, especially underneath smokes.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"esi-heading-681898bc36001\" class=\"esi-heading \">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span id=\"a_throwback_to_the_past-2\">A Throwback to the Past<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-681898bc365ca\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n<p>Finally, with VALORANT\u2019s fifth anniversary right around the corner, Riot is bringing back music from Episode 1 for the game\u2019s menus, character select and Victory\/Defeat screens.
